Steve was raised on a small dairy farm between Darlington and Belmont, WI that was passed down from his grandparents and parents. It has been in the family for more than 100 years! Steve spends a lot of his time there managing 25 acres of trees, hobby farming hops, camping and hunting.

For more than 24 years, Steve worked at Springs Window Fashions, a premier window covering company in Madison. He held roles in Packaging Engineering, Project Management, New Product Development, Quality, Marketing, Dealer Training, Sales and Installation. He is an expert
of all things window coverings!

McDonald Blinds and Shades, LLC was created in May 2020. Steve now shares his extensive knowledge with the tri-state area. He sells a full line of custom products from Graber Custom Window Treatments, a top-quality window covering brand.

Steve and his family reside in Dodgeville, WI. 

Clem was raised in the town of Plain, Wisconsin. His parents had a tavern and Clem was graciously loaned out to local farmers to help milk cows, bale hay and fill silos. Clem has a love for cheese with cheese being a part of his family history. (Meister Cheese) of Muscoda Wi. Clem also worked at Cedar Grove Cheese in Plain while in college before starting his career at Springs Window Fashions. Clem loves the outdoors and boating on Lake Wisconsin. Clem is currently a member and President of the
Lake Wisconsin Boat Club.

Clem worked at Springs Window Fashions for 37 years as a Vertical Extrusion Technician, Cellular Fabric Technician, and Packaging Engineer. As a packaging engineer, Clem had the opportunity to travel and work at every Springs manufacturing facility and on every product line. Clem has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to window coverings, having touched every product line Springs Window Fashions has to offer.
